first thing

First thing in the morning is my favourite time, especially when the sun is shining and we can eat breakfast outside. Jess has learned the word "breakfast" and licks her lips when Sarah says it. They always share Sarah's toast and peanut butter.

The woolly jumper didn't stay on for long - we were both in shorts and vest tops soon after this and spent most of the day gardening. We had to fetch a parcel for D which had been misdelivered to our neighbour half a mile away so we walked up there and enjoyed some garden conversation over iced drinks.

Tonight Sarah and Jess have gone down to Keswick where Sarah is pacing two men on the first stage of their Bob Graham Round. They will leave the Moot Hall at 9pm and hopefully get to Threlkeld around 1am, when Sarah will come home and they will continue onwards and upwards...well they have fine weather for it and a full moon too...
