Leaving Lerwick Harbour

In Lerwick you don’t realise how much the Town Hall dominates the skyline. From the top deck of NorthLink ferry Hjaltland it is quite obvious why it was built where it stands. 

The extra is of calmer waters as we approach Orkney for a quick stop some 5 hours later before heading south to Aberdeen.
