wildlife in my garden

Bee continues to bounce around my heucheras. Another bee zooming around the hydrangea. A squirrel climbs my Fireglow and birds hang out on elephant ear hostas, Summer Gold, Fireglow, and the hydrangea. 

Sam got lots of strangers to pet him this morning, so his life is good. 

A deer seemed to walk toward us but kept ~10 feet away as she went by. 

The US promised another BILLION in military aid including more rocket launchers and howitzers. Germany will offer three long-range rocket systems. The UK already has. Slovaikia promises helicopters. Canada, Poland, and the Netherlands are promising more artillery. The US is also providing an additional $225 million for drinking water, medical supplies, food, and shelter. 

Sanctions have made it almost impossible for rich Russians to go to their favorite vacation spots. European airspace is closed to them. Visas are hard to get. Their credit cards don't work. 

Some Russians are working on draft deferral schemes. Some are working in Kazakhstan. Some are hiding in country houses.
