Under Cover

It was hot hot hot on Arlo's afternoon walk, it wasn't even a blue sky. There are no leaves on this lower level of branches on this tree, I am pretty sure I could snap them all off. Another tree has gone down in the glen, there has not been any bad weather recently, and anyway, it was well sheltered. There are so many fallen trees in the past 6 months, either they were fatally damaged during Storm Arwen and are only now giving up, or the ground support is deteriorating in general. Every path through now needs clambering over several tree trunks.
