A Bit of Sun

I know that I've blipped this Orchid Primrose (Primula vialli) as an extra before, but it's looking particularly splendid right now, don't you think? The tall one is some sort of mutation, but oh so cool. This cool, wet weather has really prolonged many of the plants and blossoms. And boy oh boy plants have grown!

I got out to the garden early this am (7:30!) and spent a couple of hours working, without rain, until I had a 9:30 am meeting. The rest of the day was spent on botanical garden stuff and a visit to mom. And I had a quick pedicure on my way home, overdue...and of course one must have lovely toes for the big party next Tuesday!
