Late Bloomer

After a good frost we had a wonderful sunny day..it was rather cold.

I noticed this Japanese Anemone flowering in the garden today. It was a big surprise to see it.

I still have a bit of a headache after my Endoscopy procedure yesterday. I was told not to drive for 24 hours. Pity as I need to take some library books back.. will have to do that tomorrow.
