Cooks River

The stunning red sunsets we’ve had recently were due to a volcanic eruption in Tonga, and there’s still interesting colours in the sky. Redder a minute earlier.

As I crossed the bridge this morning a white-bellied sea eagle flew up the river, low enough to positively ID it on the live sea eagle cam at Olympic Park.

A quick drink at the Rose, it being the end of my working week.
