Knee Surgery

Thursday, I'm having this little cyst removed. It's been mostly not a problem at all, but occasionally is quite sharply painful, even has woken me up. I figured my doc would quickly and easily remove it, much like they freeze off a little mole. Not the case, though.
And not that anyone considers it a danger to my health, but rather, they couldn't decide who should remove it. My doc referred me to another doc who said to call general surgery. I did, but someone there said it had to go to orthopedics, but the orthopedist I saw said he wouldn't be the one to do it, and had me see an orthopedic oncology surgeon. So I saw him and he's delighted to do it. Apparently he is not very busy. All this took months to arrange; I figured there must be a covid-caused back-log in getting everyone attended to, but no one agrees with that idea. So, off I'll go to get it done.
