Ghost Ship

I have a great affection for trawlers, especially the older wooden boats, some still seen along the West coast of Scotland. Having experienced work on these vessels as a very young man I appreciate just how hard a life it was and remains for the men and women who choose to harvest the sea.

Here is "Adoration II" registered in Campbletown, she has over recent times been laid up in Greenock, an innocuous little vessel, showing signs of her age and the hard life she has had.

I liked her in monochrome as it seemed to emphasise her faded glory
