Surprise!

This tall white daisy has suddenly appeared in the middle of my enormous purple-flowered plant. Maybe an ox-eye daisy that has seeded itself? Very lovely - wonder if I can persuade it to move somewhere with a bit more room?

Despite the rain shower today, the garden is still really dry. Plants in the shady spots, which are even drier, are looking decidedly sad...
