Can you tell what it is?

A day of meetings which is nice because I work with some awesome people. But it's wearing too. I spent a few idle moments planning what I was going to eat this evening (I often spend time doing that - it's relaxing) and I decided that I'd try making baba ganoush. I've enjoyed it many times but not prepared it so I checked out a few recipes and gave it a spin. This image is the aubergine after being baked and blackened to give the smoky taste. I had it with some of the bread I baked yesterday and it was okay - perhaps a tad less garlic next time.

I've also booked a holiday for Cal and I so that's good.
