Viola Watered

I'd planted violas for winter colour last year but they are still going strong so I've let them in the front bed, rather than replace them with summer bedding.

They do need some watering though as they are in a raised bed, under a tree and the soil is very dry.  As I was watering them I noticed the beading of droplets on the petals so grabbed the macro lens and took a few photos.  After that it was work and by th time we'd finished it had clouded over.

So another early shot saved me from an emergency blip.
