Zanzibar

My first experience of Zanzibar. Which is more accurately known as Unguja Island; Zanzibar being the name of the archipelago. We have come to a hotel in the village of Uroa, on the island’s east side, with nothing ahead but blue expanses of Indian Ocean.

The sand is truly powder white, with nothing else but blues, greens and groups of boys playing football on the beach at sunset.
