Xray eyes

Featured as a blip earlier in the week in real life this is a screen shot of a survey. This is a dam structure with the outer wall peeled away to show the internal fish pass. The inlet valves on the side correspond with operating wheel above. Only the gate at the level of the reservoir is opened on that day. If the water drops a lower valve must be opened and if it rises then the lower valves must be closed (as the flow would be ferocious) and a higher one at the water surface level valve must be opened.
An odd concept, a point cloud survey measures to a surface but it has no thickness so, as here, the texture and colour you can see is actually on the inside of the conduit (the surface which was measured) .
If navigating around the model with the mouse you can fly straight through a concrete wall and see what is inside.   .
