We are home!

Our journey by slow ferry from UK to Guernsey (8 hours) was wonderful. We love the slow boat as it’s like a mini cruise. We have a cabin which was at the front of the boat. There is a shower, tv, clean beds and complimentary water and popcorn! We had breakfast on board, a shower, a sleep, lunch, time out on deck and in the conservatory area at the back. The sea was flat calm and we saw so many ships of varying shapes and sizes en route. We passed the island of Brecqhou and behind Jethou which are part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. There were 2 cruise ships outside the harbour. On arrival a fishing boat was attracting lots of gulls. Phoebe was so pleased to see us and followed us everywhere. Washing started, Campervan emptied and soon to bed! What an amazing time we’ve had! So grateful!
