Pastel Light

I like these alliums because they are just a bit different to the "normal" looking variety. They are also not so vivid in colour. I will often seek a darker background so flowers stand out. But here, I shot them against the light, with the flower in shade, which kept the colour in the petals and related it to its surroundings.

It was also windy hence the high iso. The softness and the pastel colours are rather pleasing. Highs today 97°F, too hot to handle.
