memory failure

i have this problem. i finish a book that i absolutely adore and then within a few years have no recollection of the very same book that i absolutely adored.

so today i have decided to re-read one of those books: the poisonwood bible. i remember loving it but to my shame the only part of it that i can clearly remember was when the ants came and destroyed the village. i think i only remember that part after having to pick those ants out of my legs. cheeky beggars only start to bite when they've reached pretty high up.

anyway, looking forward to reading this again.
