Moons Up...Crane's down

An exciting start to the day at 6.AM when we noticed this going on next door. We did know about it as the constructors had a regular newsletter to folk in our apartment building and this was one of the two cranes that had been involved with the construction of the new Conference and Exhibition centre which is next door. On the harbour today one of the tugs was having fire practise (extra) 
You do have to admire the blokes that work on cranes and we watched with interest as at one time a bloke was right up the top encouraging something to let go with a very large sledge hammer. They had a large "exclusion" area underneath all this for obvious reasons.
I am sure that many folk would have panicked about being next door to a major construction site but it has never been a problem and it is great to have such a beautiful building adjacent.
