The Winners!

It was the school's Athletics Carnival today.  And after it being postponed a couple of weeks ago, because of the rain, today was perfect.

They did long jump (well more of a hop!), high jump,  throwing games, egg and spoon (with a plastic egg), more throwing games.

But the events Isabella liked the best were the relay and the sprint.  They only gave out a ribbon for the sprint race.  And it was nice to see her get a first again.

The first extra is her powering along in the relay.

The second extra is her winning the sprint.  And you can see how far ahead of the other girls she was.

They also did a fun race, where she ran against some of the other winners.  She came first in that as well!

On the way home, she told me her legs hurt!  I'm not surprised.

I think we'll all sleep well tonight.
