Having a whale of a time

Tee-hee.
This poor beast was washed up on ther NW reaches of North Uist and so off we trotted to measure it up for the Scottish Marine Animal Strandings Scheme. At nearly 6m long, it would have been an impressive sight. Ruadh liked it too but had to be kept away.
Sadly its tail had some fishing rope firmly attached and I suspect that might have contributed to its demise.
