Living Legend

This tree is in the grounds of Crosslet House in Dumbarton. It is a beautiful old tree, which we estimate to be well over 400 years old. You can estimate this by measuring the girth of the trunk, so I've been told. It has survived some terrible gales, even just in the last few years, when huge branches have broken off.
