Fascinating anthotype variations

Both of these images were made in exactly the same way, with flowers from the same dark violas that are growing in the garden. I expected that the stronger sunlight at this time of year would mean a shorter exposure time (3 days rather than 6 in April) but didn’t expect the colour would be so different. Much bluer this time.

Also realised that I have used the same pressed fern leaf in both.
