Summer?

We were led to believe that today was going to be the hottest day of the year so far, but it certainly isn’t in the Breamish Valley! Overcast , regular light showers and very frustrating. It did reach about 21 degrees at one point but it is raining again now.

We’ve had an easy day today, visiting amongst other things a very nice cafe at Ingram. These poppies were in the garden there and are the only photo I’ve taken today. We’ve turned the radio off as they are implying the entire country is baking in 30 degrees of sunshine and blue skies and believe me it isn’t!
