Post pressing

After I took off all the 'weights' and pressed the edges, this is what my base now looks like. I'm incredibly pleased with the smoothness and the quality of this material. 

I've spent a hot and steamy day, as doing another large hat too! (see extra) A lot of steam is needed to shape the fabric into a bias curve. I have three of these to create, each one taking around an hour of steaming
