Tilberthwaite and Little Langdale

Tom and I did a similar walk to the one I did with D and H in February.
Parking at Tilberthwaite farm and walking to Cathedral cave. Tom's never seen the cave before and we had it all to ourselves, a big contrast to February half term.
Slaters Bridge was also quiet. I'd taken my swimming stuff but it was cloudy and very windy - I chickened out. 
We had a pint and lunch at the Three Shires Inn, in Little Langdale.
There was a huge black cloud as we came out of the pub. We walked briskly back to the car just as it started to really pour down.
We've been lucky with the weather, it's been sunny on most days and we seem to have missed to brunt of the heat wave.
