Clematis on a Very Hot Day

It's been too hot to move today, 33 degrees, I believe. I had an appointment with a new Diabetes nurse this morning and was quite impressed with her. Having managed my type 1 diabetes for coming up for 50 years, I have met quite a few.

I've never been to Death Valley but I imagine it must be a bit like this but less humid. I think it may be over now, it's nearly 9 pm, there's a little bit of breeze blowing and it should be cooler tomorrow before some rain comes in.

There are some lovely clematis flowers on our front wall. I think they may be 'Sunset' variety but I'm not sure. That seemed like far enough to go for today's blip. It's Flower Friday and thanks to Anni - BikerBear for hosting.
