Wet

Been showers for most of the day, just before tea it dryed up a bit & I went out to the garden. First to rescue a football in the garden to throw back over the fence.

Then lifted a few weeds but there is now a lot of cuckoo spit appearing so trying to leave the greens until they've moved on.

Sadly my radishes have started to flower. They were a new one to try white Japanese radishes which are long like carrots rather than the red balls. Will leave for the bees to enjoy the leaves & keep the seeds.

Noticed what I thought was a young bullfinch in the garden this morning. Happy to see but also worrying as don't normally see them in the garden until winher frosts. Will keep an eye out tomorrow for it.

Happy I managed to catch this froghopper with the camera.

Have a good weekend, luckily the breeze here has kept the house a bit cooler & may have to go early to garden tomorrow if going to be too hot day.
