Friday: Reading …

… current book has been very handy for passing the time these last few days.
MrD went down to the garage this afternoon, the car came home having had a service, new calliper on left hand side of handbrake and the bracket holding the exhaust pipe welded back in place. Need to pop into my friendly tyre dealers to check on seal between tyre & wheel rim on rear offside.
Another young fledgling needed a bit of TLC this afternoon after flying into a window - it was just winded, held it in gloved hands then placed it on path under a tree, it flew up onto a branch hoping reunited with its family.

ADDED LATER: rain arrived late afternoon and we had a few hours of gentle rain!
