a few flowers

So terribly hot today - a day to do hardly anything. Garden far too hot, house too hot even with all the windows open. Kathy and Jim came over for dinner - ham, hard-boiled eggs, and salad plus a big tray of roast potatoes. And a lovely chat before they went home. Hope it cools down tomorrow.
