The yellow peppers are doing well.

So are the cucumbers

A lovely hot day today did gardening this afternoon but kept in the shady spot and there was a nice cool breeze blowing so not too bad.

Paula cut the glass for the greenhouse and fixed it. lucky we had a few sheets tucked away that she could cut to shape.

Molly did well eating today as well as lots of treats she had beef slices, sausage and a hide shoe, we soak them in hot water and cut them up small for her, she loves them, plus 2 bowls of milk.

The other day we had 2 peacocks wandering all over the main road, they are apparently wild ones but don't usually come onto the road. Couldn't stop and photograph them as 2 coppers were trying to herd them back to the field.
Then yesterday coming home from the woods there was 2 swans and several signets at the side of the country lane we were on, lucky there were two people from the RSPB keeping guard over them, until they could herd them back onto the nearby lake. Which was going to be difficult as there is a fence all down the side of the road and it's quite a way to where they could get back into the field and the lake.

Not going to be as warm tomorrow, Saturday, so they tell us. does this mean summer is over, hey ho such is the British weather. ha haa
