Fountains Abbey

The ruins that give the cottage we are staying in its name, but not the reason for World Heritage status, this is the water gardens adjoining it at Studley Royal.

A thoroughly enjoyable long weekend, coming to a close with a cup of tea in a NT tea room, looking out over the lake with it raining gently. Well t can be sunny every day!
