Hot and sunny , but there was a pleasant breeze. Not really a day for gardening so I got to Js early before it got too hot. He did two loads of taking the old trellis to the tip whilst I clear d the last of the dead daffodil leaves. We then sorted out the rockery stones I had brought over and J started to try to get rid of a horrid patch of really tough plant with blade like leaves. He ended up having to cut all the leav s off so he could see where the base of the plant was, and we filled an entire wheelie bin with them. It was far too hot by then so we went to the garden centre to buy plants for the pond. Put them in as soon as we got back but I forgot to take a photo!
