After the fire

A bushfire raged through the Karri forest at Boranup, south of Margaret River, 6 months ago. Karri is a species of eucalypt, which can grow to enormous size, close to 100 m tall. Eucalypts are adapted to fire in the environment. Most of these are recovering and will survive.
