P2P phase 2 interviews
Here is the set-up on Bruce's desk for the Phase 2 interviews for the P2P project today. In these interviews, we're been asking our project participants:to consider two broad questions:
Q1. What has been your experience of engaging with the archives of Lorna's work as a set of audio files, alongside the contemporaneous news content?
Q2. How does this compare with viewing her work on the Blipfoto web site?
In short, we're interested in knowing what they think of the podcast series, and how listening to it compares with reading the LornaL journal entries.
On the print-out in the middle of the desk is the full interview schedule with detailed questions and prompts. To the right of this is a grid that we use to ensure that all points are covered in each interview.
We are extremely grateful to our project participants for taking part in these (and the Phase 1) interviews, and are looking forward to analysing the data collected next month.
Our first (formal) opportunity to share our findings on the ways in which people engage with archives in two different digitised formats will be at the Archives and Records Association conference in September, as one of the final presentations in the programme.
