Black-tailed
Numerous numbers of black-tailed skimmers were aggressively protecting their territories by the edge of the Lake in Ripple.
It was incredibly hot but out there a breeze gusting over was something to be thankful for.
I'd started my day early doors at Trench Wood in Worcestershire, come home after very little on camera, changed then headed off to do a Waitrose shop followed by an hour in the gym.
One of the dogs during this time was incredibly ill and during the process had been onto nearly every carpet in the house! Thankfully we have a Vax machine but it took positively ages to clean up all the mess. Tilly lately has been on the case of the young rabbits around us and I think this is primarily the cause of the upset.
We have planned tomorrow to go to an open an theatre touting a picnic though the weather forecast looks hideous now. Fingers crossed!
