Welcome Home Soldier Monument

We took a drive to see the surrounding area. We came across this hill of flags and had to turn around to see what it was all about. 

It is 7 acres beautifully landscaped and maintained, privately owned and operated, memorializing any honorably discharged veteran, living or deceased. It is on Highway 34 just west of Albia, IA.

A wonderful tribute to those that have served our country. 

I am grateful we came across this site. Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

Another evening watching the fireflies and listening to the frogs. Life is good.
