2729. Diffuser - EB

This is a bit of an EB I’m afraid as once again events have overtaken the day!

Nice slow start this morning, met my youngest for coffee then the rest of the family for lunch which was very nice indeed. Back home and a frantic phone call from my eldest step daughter to say that she’s tested positive for covid. Apparently a few people who were at a team meeting with her last week have all tested positive so that’s her isolating at home for five days now. She was obviously very worried that we had caught covid too…but so far no sign of a positive test. Hubby has had a terrible virus that seems to be doing the rounds at the moment which definitely isn’t covid and I’ve had a much milder version of it myself and the only worrying thing is that my step daughter has similar symptoms to me but not my husband so I’m hoping that my tests remain negative over the next few days…thank goodness we stockpiled testing kits whilst we could or we’d have been in the dark right now and wouldn’t know whether or not to isolate. Apparently cases in Scotland are on the rise and now one in thirty people are infected but most cases are mild which is a blessing.

Today’s EB is our diffuser which packed up after only 9 months so I had to return to the shop yesterday and they offered me a replacement which is now working beautifully. I love the colour changing as it’s quite restful…..

Also had a phone call from my granddaughter to ask if I could print of an image for her on glossy photo paper as it’s for her Dad for Father’s Day so she may be along later to collect it, nothing like leaving it until the last minute!
