Kantha work

This is my second kantha piece for my C&G. I’ve used scraps of sari fabric as the base and then it’s quite large stitches. I love how it makes the fabric feel.

What a dull day. Probably because I’ve been madly busy all week. We didn’t go cycling as the weather forecast was awful but actually wasn’t too bad in reality, I didn’t go sewing as I can’t get to anything in my sewing room. So apart from shopping and tidying I’ve done very little. I did sit for a wee while and do some of this sewing.
