RWR2

Andy continued his ride along the Reivers Way Route, whilst my friend and explored the town of Brampton; had a lovely walk through the Gelt Woods with its sandstone cliffs which still show marks where Roman soldiers 1800 years ago chiselled out blocks of stone to make Hadrian's Wall; and  admired Bewcastle Castle and Cross, dating back to the late 7th or early 8th century.  (We were having such a good time we were a bit late in our rendezvous with the cycling chaps, but they were waiting for us outside a pub in the sun so didn't complain, much.)
