Ah-hem

Text from Granny this morning to say the eldest went to sleep at 10pm. My first reaction was to delay collecting the boys by 24 hours! Of course we didn't. And in his defence, bedtime was 7pm, but it was so hot and muggy that he couldn't sleep, and so after lying in bed for hours he was taken down stairs and had hot chocolate in the garden watching the bats. Then back to bed and off to sleep. 

Very tired by the end of today, tears at the thought of watching a film, which they loved after about 10 minutes. Watched the end of it with them curled up on the sofa. 

Today I'm grateful for:
A morning with the husband
What turned out to be a special evening staying up late for the eldest
The boys enjoying their sleepover!
