Watching

A busy day of catching up in various ways. I felt the need to be active and I ran for the first time in a long while. I reckoned it would easy after all those long miles of ascent and descent in insanely hot temperatures. I was wrong, although I did notice I wasn’t  out of breath, but clearly running muscles are different to walking ones. I was also very cold.
Keen to catch up with some of my Glasgow pals I went to the Merchant Voices summer concert in the Fotheringay Centre. Their performance of Lotti’s Crucifixus in eight parts was excellent.
There was still plenty of light when I got back home so I decided to see if I could spot the fox cubs. The adult male was positioned perfectly and watched me walking towards him on the allotment road. No sign of the cubs tonight.
