First blooms

While south of us the UK enjoyed warmth we had blustery cool winds. Fortunately when the sum came out from behind the clouds it was strong enough to warm things up.

The roses are now in full bloom and the first of the sweet pea are flowering. Not all the seedlings survived being transplanted but I have high hopes for those that did.

The evening was spent catching up - long overdue - with the excellent Chernobyl. Russia’s war in Ukraine adds a new dimension to its viewing.
