I didn't spend much time on my own photography today as we were busy taking someone over to a beck where he could get some practice with shutter speeds.

I set up my own tripod in what I thought was a sheltered place and was horrified to hear my camera crash onto the rocks and see my 55 - 250mm lens fitting lying broken. The 7D seems OK.

I guess the next tripod I buy will have to be one with a hook to hand the camera bag on to give it a bit of weight.

I've just notice a patient dog sitting waiting for us to move on from here!
