Nambour Hinterland
We headed out to Kondalilla Falls today so Jon could drive alone in the Hinterland. We drove ahead of him in my car.
Kondalilla Falls is a special place for us as we’ve been there a few times with Martin’s parents. Mum used to like hugging trees there, a wonderful memory of her.
We were kicking ourselves for not having gone there sooner as it’s only 40 mins or so away.
When Martin brought me back to Oz a year after we got married, he’d taken a picture of me at the Falls which he’s had on his work desk every since. So we tried to take an updated photo while we were there :).
We stopped at a lovely little place for lunch with a fabulous lookout over the Hinterland. You can see Mt Coolum and Mt Ninderry in the distance.
Home to feed the cats and then out again to Kawana to see Andrew performing at the shopping centre there.
Right beside a yummy noodles and dumpling restaurant. Good to see all the family, Jasmine’s parents are visiting from Childers so they were there too. Fun evening with dear friends.
Turned out to be a really nice day! And Jon did very well with driving alone on scenic winding roads.
