Another dash to the bottom of Greenwich Park tonight, after taking this not very impressive bird in a tree shot, as the park gates were supposed to be locked at 8.00 p.m. I suddenly realised it was 8.10 p.m. after checking on my mobile timepiece (I love the word 'timepiece'). I'd been hanging around trying, hopelessly, to get a picture of some bats that were flying around...far too fast though of course!

Another lucky escape though, as fortunately the man was there late at 8.30 locking up, so no pole vaulting over the railings for me yet again!
