The heat

The day was hot but did get blustery in the late afternoon. In the evening we actually had rain. The orchids in the conservatory are enjoying the heat more than the vegetable plants.
A day of holiday prep in the main - so many little things to organise and keeping them all front of mind is a challenge. Haven’t left my Mum for such a long time for several years so telling her we would be away wasn’t something I was looking forward to but people are popping in every day and her carers will come as normal
