St Philip's Cathedral

For my 50th birthday weekend Issy took me to Birmingham.

That isn't as bad as it sounds, it was reminder of where we would date when we were teenagers, and we were staying at the Hotel du Vin, which used to be very good.

Unfortunately it seems the current maitre d' thinks being chummy is more important than delivering excellent service.
