Happy Heavenly Father's Day, Dad!

Although Dad died 24 years ago, I always think of him on Father's Day.  This photograph was taken in 1960 at a cookout at our home in Hudson.  He rarely was in photographs as he was the one always taking the pictures, so I am happy to have this one. An interest in photography was something we shared. He looks so young, and he was, just 42.  In some ways, those days seem very distant and in other ways like it was just yesterday.   “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” – Dorothea Lange, American photographer
