Blyth Gun Emplacment

First built in 1916 these placements would later play a part in there defence of the uk during the second world war. In the picture you can see the two observation post the one on the left being the one from the first world war and the one to the right being the newer one from the second and in the rear of the picture you can see the block house which they would use in case of bomb raids or if needed a shelling from any enemy ships
