Sunday best

The Philadelphus is just coming out.. and looks glorious and smells divine.  In the evening the air will be full of its bitter sweet scent and it will glow as the night falls.  I planted it in my garden as I have very fond memories of my grandmother having one in her garden.. she used to serve lunch and tea under is as it casts the most delicious shade on hot summers days. 

It has dried up enough to get the grass cut today with more storms forecast for this evening.  Jaspers mum just got back from an exhausting weekend and was greeted cooly by little miss... they are now both sound asleep once more!

Time for a cuppa and a gf banana muffin made with some browned off bananas. The smell is intoxicating!
